Catholic Schools Week January 28 - February 2, 2007 “ Daily Activities – Each day a St. Richard trivia question will be asked during morning announcements. At 2:15 p.m. the answer will be announced and a fun song will be played. Preparation Activities: Each family will be asked to complete a “Good News” activity to be displayed during Catholic Schools Week. Schedule Sunday (1/28): GOOD NEWS IN OUR PARISH Buttons will be given to students who attend the 10:00 a.m. Family Monday (1/29): GOOD NEWS IN CATHOLIC SCHOOLS Spirit Day! Students who showed their faith and school spirit by attending Mass will have an out of uniform day, and may wear St. Richard school colors (blue and white). Teachers will switch classes from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.; they will spend the 45 minutes in a class they do not normally teach. Tuesday (1/30): GOOD NEWS IN OUR COMMUNITY A breakfast will be provided for the leaders in our community. In addition, the students will be treated to a special presentation. Wednesday (1/31): GOOD NEWS IN OUR STUDENTS Student appreciation! Pajama day! Students can wear their pajamas and enjoy a movie with their unit. Popcorn will be provided during the movie. Thursday (2/1): GOOD NEWS IN OUR FAMILIES Grandparents Day! Grandparents will be invited to join us for refreshments in room G and an activity in the classroom. Friday (2/2): GOOD NEWS IN Faculty and staff appreciation! The school will celebrate the end of the week with a morning mass, a short pep rally and a prayer service in the afternoon.
